India Tourist Visa
An India visa for tourist purposes allows you to visit India on a holiday for upto 6 months. The India tourist visas can be either a single, double or multiple entry visa, and allow you to visit any state within India. Please note that if you are planning to visit either Sikkim or the Andoman Island, then you will require an additional permit which can either be obtained here from the India VFS centres in London or elsewhere, or on arrival, e.g. at port blair. Unfortunately the standard India visa will not cover his. Note that India tourist visa holders are not allowed to stay beyond their permitted limit.
